In my opinion, Pokémon Go was the coolest.
As the greatest excuse to get out in the world and explore the real maps of the neighborhood, we could all finally feel like the training masters we wanted to become. Although we'll never catch the MewTwo and our Pokédex is free of any exotic creatures, the joy of capturing a Pokémon in some semblance of virtual reality is more fulfilling than most games.
However, for the purists, who refuse to do anything Pokémon-related without mentioning the cards, there are binders of value sitting in basements gathering dust. Deep down, we all yearn for the holographic Blue Eyes White Dragon, but that's one unattainable beauty that most Pokémon enthusiasts will happily leave out in the world. Some unique wonders are meant to remain a mystery. So if you're like every 90s kid who grew up wanting to be the very best like Ash Ketchum, go grab your baseball hats and Pokéballs, because a whole world of wonders awaits beyond your front door, on your computer screen, and on your TV, because the universe of Pokémon is completely infinite: There's no end or beginning to the joy that is a virtual pet, especially when they're an adorable electric rat that makes you laugh, cry, and grow up alongside the perfect friend.
